ABS

Return the absolute numeric value of an expression.

SYNTAX / MV BASIC

ABS(number.expression)

ABS applies MultiValue numeric conversion, removes the value's sign, and formats the result back into the BASIC string value model. Zero remains zero, and a non-numeric value follows the normal numeric conversion rule.
