01 / INSTALL

From archive to a running system.

  1. 01
    Install Java.

Use Java 17 or newer. Java 21 is the recommended runtime for this preview.

  2. 02
    Extract and review.

Keep rightmv.jar, the launch scripts and .env together in a writable working directory. The included md/md credential is an initial bootstrap value only.

  3. 03
    Start RightMV.

Run rightmv.cmd on Windows or sh rightmv.sh on Linux and macOS, then wait for the HTTP and Telnet listeners to report ready.

  4. 04
    Secure the first login.

Visit http://localhost:8081/trm, log in locally, and immediately run CHANGE-PASSWORD md a-strong-new-password. Bootstrap settings never reset an existing password. Keep HTTP and Telnet bound to trusted interfaces; use TLS through a trusted proxy before remote access.

02 / INTEGRITY

03 / RELEASE NOTE

One complete portable distribution.

This preview packages one combined RightMV runtime for every licence level. Community runs immediately and remains useful without a licence. Installing a Professional licence later unlocks compiled execution, production storage, encrypted SSH terminals and secure MCP server capabilities without replacing the runtime or converting application data.

The portable ZIP includes launchers for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
